Purchase and donor worksheets
The purchase ceiling worksheet works backwards from a resale estimate: sale − parts − other costs − minimum profit. Its conservative case uses a lower sale and subtracts an extra cost allowance. A negative ceiling means even a free purchase misses that target.
The donor worksheet totals replacement cost × quantity for confirmed, needed parts only. Savings are that avoided spending minus the donor purchase and recovery costs. Maximum donor purchase = confirmed avoided spending − recovery costs − minimum savings. Inventory savings are not cash revenue.
Both worksheets start with invented arithmetic examples. Neither uses a hidden game formula, a compatibility database, or a fixed device price list.
How the recommendation works
The tool recommends repair when repair profit is higher than donor profit. It recommends donor parts when donor profit is higher. An exact tie stays neutral so you can test a more conservative case.
Data standard
Direct demo observations and public walkthrough facts are both eligible when their build, source, category, and limits are shown. Four initial demo estimates can seed a planning range, but only a complete job can support an exact-cost claim from purchase through repair or donor outcome.
The low and high estimate bands apply a visible 15% sensitivity buffer around one observation. They are not measured marketplace ranges or predictions of a hidden game formula.
