What was observed directly
The Windows demo was run directly on August 1, 2026. Its initial device-estimation log created records for Atari2600, Autorola, Pokia3310, and Atari_CX40 after the first gameplay state loaded.
The displayed rounded estimates were 3829, 3450, 3560, and 2780 respectively. The Atari2600 dirty component was logged as 3829.545 before rounding.
What those numbers do not prove
All four initial records attributed their estimate to dirty elements, while broken, paint, palette, and hacking components were zero. That makes them observations from one state, not permanent marketplace prices or complete repair outcomes.
The calculator can load these values as planning anchors with a visible sensitivity buffer. They are not purchase-offer ceilings. Record the condition and values visible in your own save, then compare the repair and donor paths.
Verification standard for future device pages
An exact-cost device claim should wait until a complete job has been observed from purchase through disassembly, parts, repair actions, and resale or donor outcome. Approximate planning pages must label their source, build, and buffer. Demo-only observations and full-release data stay separate.
