Customer and online repair jobs are easier to budget than speculative marketplace flips because the payout is known before you begin. One public pre-release walkthrough showed ¥8,000 earned on day one with two orders completed and one still in progress.
The same walkthrough showed an Atari 2600 online repair payout of ¥5,120 and a police flashlight reward of ¥7,500. Treat these as versioned examples, not promises for every save or the full release.
Price donor risk before buying
A ¥2,000 Atari 2600 donor looked inexpensive in the walkthrough, but its top cover was cracked and another donor was needed. That is the exact failure mode a headline resale value hides.
Before buying a donor, subtract the first purchase, a downside repair allowance, and recurring shop costs from the known payout or conservative sale estimate. If the margin disappears after one bad part, skip the listing or value it only for parts you can confirm.

Protect progression money
The public walkthrough exposed a ¥500-per-week basic internet plan, a ¥12,000 electric screwdriver, and a ¥40,000 Nony PMP service license. These larger goals make a small positive flip less attractive when it ties up cash or requires uncertain donor purchases.
A practical order is to cover recurring bills, accept known-payout work, preserve a repair buffer, and only then fund licenses or convenience tools. The calculator reports break-even and margin so the same rule can be applied to any current-save listing.
